KPMG has appointed Sue Kershaw as UK head of infrastructure programme and project management.

Sue Kershaw joins from CH2M where she was director of rail for Europe. Previous jobs include deputy director of transport for the Olympic Delivery Authority.

Ms Kershaw is a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a member of the London Enterprise Panel and a board member of the Association for Project Management.

She said of her new job: “Too often planners embarking on major infrastructure projects will find themselves frustrated with the standardised programme management guidance provided in the engineering consultancy space. It’s great to be part of a team with a reputation for providing bespoke, high quality strategic guidance founded on the calibre and influence of experienced individuals.”

Hew new boss, Richard Threlfall, UK head of infrastructure building & construction at KPMG, said: “I am really delighted that Sue has joined our team.  Her exemplary track record of delivering large scale, high profile infrastructure projects internationally and her status in the project management community will ensure our clients are receiving the very best in strategic advice throughout the lifecycle of their projects.”
