Work will begin next month on the speculative development with demolition and clearance works in August. Construction is expected to start in early October.
Kier Park Frimley is located on Frimley Road, a mile from Junction 4 of the M3 motorway. The area is already an established warehousing and distribution centre, but with no new development there for five years, industrial accommodation is in short supply.
Kier Property has permission to transform 10 acres from derelict buildings into a 160,000 sq ft industrial hub with units available on a pre-let or pre-sale basis.
The first phase is for 56,000 sq ft, with units ranging in size from 2,700 sq ft to 20,000 sq ft.
Kier Property development manager Helena Kolsaker said: "Frimley has been on our books for a number of years and I am excited to see it finally taking shape and being developed into a fast-moving industrial facility, which will generate jobs and income for the local economy.”
