Leana Horton previously looked after Hewden’s national accounts, including civil engineering contractor Murphys. She is credited with building up and managing the Crossrail project for Hewden, turning it into a strategic account for the business.
As Kubota’s key account manager, Ms Horton will be responsible for maintaining and developing strategic partnerships with fleet customers.
Kubota UK managing director Dave Roberts said: “Leana’s appointment is all about adding value to the service we provide our key account customers, working closer with them to provide support and a first class service offering to ensure they get the best out of their Kubota fleet. She brings years of industry insight and expertise with her to this role, particularly on the construction side, and we are excited to have such an experienced professional join our sales team.”
