LHC Network allows any public sector organisation to procure building products and services for construction, refurbishment and repair programmes of social housing, schools and other public buildings without having to go out to tender every time.
The three companies selected to offer insulation services are Mark Group, Eaga and Doncaster-based Keepmoat.
Jesmond-based Eaga and Leicester-based Mark Group were previously on the list under the last framework contract for insulation. This expired in December. The new four-year term begins 1 December.
The framework has a notional estimated value of €30m, although actual value depends on take-up. Terms of the contract are to provide insulation services including roof insulation, loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, solid wall insulation, floor insulation, pipework and ductwork insulation to projects under the control of various public sector bodies throughout the UK.
