Lovell has recruited Nick Gregory as special projects director, heading up the company’s involvement in Morgan Sindall joint ventures in the London region. These include the Slough Urban Renewal (SUR) partnership, a partnership between Slough Borough Council and Morgan Sindall Investments – Lovell is currently on two sites building more than 170 homes in Slough through the SUR scheme.
Nick Gregory joins Lovell from architectural practice Purcell, where he was strategic development director. He has also previously worked for Capita but began his career with Lovell as a management trainee.
Michael Maxwell has been appointed operations director, responsible for the operational delivery of Lovell projects in London and the southeast. Michael joins from building consultant Woolf Ltd, where he was a director and led on strategy and operational delivery.
He began his career as a graduate engineer with construction company Birse (now part of Balfour Beatty) before moving into project management. His project experience includes the Wembley national football stadium.
Lovell regional managing director Michael O’Farrell said: “Nick and Michael possess outstanding industry track records and experience of successfully securing major business opportunities and delivering flagship construction projects and developments. They are extremely strong additions to our experienced senior management team and ensure we continue to have the leading strategic, technical and commercial expertise to fully capitalise on significant opportunities for the business across London and the southeast.”
Lovell has also promoted two of its London senior management team: business development manager Andy Collyer becomes regional partnerships director and sales manager Simone Dhanjal becomes regional sales director.
