Lovell seeks Norfolk suppliers

30 May 13 Affordable housing developer Lovell is holding an event for Norfolk construction subcontractors and suppliers to find out about opportunities on a major estate regeneration programme.

Lovell is looking for supply chain partners to work on its four-year Hillington Square regeneration scheme in King’s Lynn for Freebridge Community Housing.

All will be explained at the open meeting on Friday 14 June. The free event will take place between 10am and 5pm on Friday, 14 June, at the Hillington Square Community Centre, Hillington Square, King’s Lynn PE30 5HX.

Lovell is set to start work this summer. The programme includes kitchen and bathroom replacements for the estate’s 320 flats, as well as insulation work and renewal of windows and doors.  The scheme also covers the replacement of external cladding, rebuilding of balconies and walkways, construction of new staircases, installation of secure entrances and new lifts and remodelling of garages.

“The Hillington Square programme will create significant work opportunities locally and this event is designed to enable new and existing members of our supply chain to find out more about the scheme,” said Lovell construction manager Michael Saunders.

“People just need to turn up on the day to find out more and speak to our site team who will be on hand to talk about the project and answer any questions.”
