Man killed at crawler crane yard

1 Jun 15 Warwickshire Police are carrying out a joint investigation with the Health & Safety Executive after a man died following an industrial accident at a plant hire firm in Stratford-on-Avon.

Police were called shortly before 11.30am on Wednesday 27th May 2015 to plant hire firm ADG Equipment after a 49-year-old man was seriously injured. The man, from Bedfordshire, was taken to Walsgrave Hospital but died shortly after.

The matter has been referred to the coroner and a post mortem is to be carried out today (1st June).

Detective Inspector Liam Barry said "We are working closely with the company and the Health & Safety Executive, to investigate this matter."

AGD operates one of the UK’s biggest fleets of crawler cranes and foundation machinery.
