Turnover is set to double this year to £100m, the company said, and the restructuring is needed to take on more work.

The Prime Construction Division headed up by former Balfour Beatty managing director Jim Tolputt will now be split into three divisions: London; Regions; and Major Projects.

Tony Forward, previously divisional director for Taylor's Hoists and Rainsford Carpentry, now becomes managing director of Specialist Services, in charge of the logistics, carpentry & joinery and hoist hire subcontracting businesses. Each division will still operate independently under his leadership.

As a part of this change, Rainsford Carpentry is reverting back to its original name of Rainsford Contracts, reflecting the broader scope of services it provides in fit-out and small works.

Joining the company is Steven King as group financial director.
