Chartered civil and structural engineer Michael Lytrides joins McBains from Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, where he was director of project management.
Before he joined Grosvenor, he worked for Imperial College London and for Mace – from where he was seconded to the Olympic Delivery Authority’s delivery partner to work on the Main Media Centre for the London 2012 Olympic Games. He has also previously worked for Capita Symonds and Arup.
At Grosvenor he oversaw a £200m commercial and retail scheme at South Molton Triangle in Mayfair and a £500m build-to-rent development in Bermondsey.
McBains managing director Clive Docwra said: “His technical, commercial and management expertise throughout the design and construction process will be invaluable in helping us to drive opportunities within the private sector.”
