Dozens of people have also been taken to local hospitals following the collapse of the structure carrying Line 12 of the city’s metro.
The local emergency services posted photographs of the accident, which left carriages of a train suspended precariously with people trapped inside.
Reports say that a crane had to be brought in to stablise it.
