The 12/150 has a free air delivery of 14.9 m³/min (526 cfm) at an output pressure of 12 bar. It is intended for applications in plant hire, construction, quarrying and general industry. It can power breakers and other general tools as well as more specialist uses such as drilling, abrasive blasting, spray painting, and optical fibre blowing.
It is powered by the liquid-cooled Cummins QSB 6.7 FR91440 6-cylinder diesel engine. Power output is 164kW (220 HP) at a full load speed of 2000 rpm. A diesel engine exhaust spark arrestor is anoption.
Also available as an option is a valve to close the air intake to the engine to prevent damage due to overspeed should the engine begin to accelerate due to volatile vapours in the atmosphere.
