Long-serving managing director David Redhead is moving upstairs at the end of June 2013 to be non-executive chairman, to be succeeded as managing director by Richard Melton, who steps up from sales director.
Mr Melton joined BSP in October 2005 and was appointed sales director in 2009.
Mr Redhead has been with BSP for 42 years, 30 of which have been on the board of directors with the last 17 as managing director.
As well as becoming chairman of BSP, he will join the board of parent company
Tex Holdings as a non-executive director from 1 July.
