New boss for KPMG's infrastructure team

1 Jul 11 Former Infrastructure UK boss James Stewart has joined KPMG to take over as chairman of its global infrastructure practice when Tim Stone retires in September.

As CEO of Infrastructure UK at the Treasury, Mr Stewart oversaw the government’s long-term planning and delivery of infrastructure projects and played a lead role in producing last year’s national infrastructure plan.  He joined IUK from Partnerships UK, which he led for 10 years.

A Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, his CV also includes stints as head of Newcourt Capital's project finance team, and managing director of project finance at Societe Generale in London
