New boss for Volvo

He joined the dealership in 2010 as chief financial officer, having previously worked within Volvo CE’s European sales and marketing department. At the end of 2013 he became interim managing director, following the internal promotion of Val Ledden.

“This is a challenging new role in what is an extremely important market for Volvo CE,” said Mr Allen. “I am excited by the prospect of leading the organisation and equally I am really looking forward to interacting with our customers so that we can continue to support them in fulfilling their ambitions.” 

Nick Allen is 48 and has an economics degree from the University of Reading.
