Martin Pitt has joined NG Bailey from the Balfour Beatty Vinci joint venture working on the HS2 project, where he was commercial director.
He has previously also been group commercial director for both Sir Robert McAlpine and Morgan Sindall. He was on McAlpine's board for four years until 2019. Before that, he was with Morgan Sindall for 17 years.
NG Bailey said that the appointment was designed to support its growth plans across sectors including infrastructure, technology and decarbonisation.
Chief executive David Hurcomb explained: “We have a lot to look forward to in the new year and having Martin on board from January will ensure we get off to a great start. Martin will bring valuable experience along with a wealth of knowledge to his role and will play a key part in cementing our market leading position.”
