Every year, in the UK alone, an estimated £50 million to £70 million worth of plant and agricultural machinery is stolen but only five percent is ever recovered. Between June 2009 and July 2010 Tracker recovered over £3.5 million worth of stolen plant and farming equipment in the UK. Staggeringly, 48 per cent of the total plant items it recovered were worth £10,000 or less.
