These latest additions to the New Generation range of Bobcat loaders, the S850 and T870 also offer improved visibility and comfort, greater pushing power, more powerful hydraulics, increased fuel capacity, higher rated operating capacities, and more horsepower, the manufacturer says.
The S850 and T870 loaders are intended to run the most powerful attachments from Bobcat such as wheelsaws to cut trenches for cable/pipe laying (including the WS32 wheelsaw, providing an 80 cm dig depth) and the forestry cutter attachment. Other applications targeted include grading, lifting, planing, landscaping, trenching and demolition.
The 4549kg S850 skid-steer loader has a rated operating capacity of 1760kg, 17% more than the previous largest skid-steer loader in the range, the S330 model. The S850 has 26% more digging power than the S330, 8% more engine power (68.6 kW) and 11% more lift height (3.66m).
The 5751kg T870 compact tracked loader has a rated operating capacity of 1508 kg, which is 7% more than that of the previous largest compact tracked loader, the T320 model. The T870 has 12% more digging power than the T320, 8% more engine power (74 kW) and 12% more lift height (3.66m).
