The value of the framework is estimated to be in the range of £37m to £74m over a four- year period.
Expressions of interest are invited for some or all of the 11 lost that are up for grabs, broken down by type of work and size of projects.
Contractors would be expected to work closely the council's own highways direct labour organisation and in-house construction teams.
