The Gran-Jaren section of Highway 4 will be built under a SEK1,235m (£122m) contract that includes a 1.7km two-lane tunnel, two major overpasses, 11.4km of local roads and other works.
“With more than 18,000 employees, we have a clear advantage in this type of comprehensive infrastructure project,” said Håkan Tjomsland, business area head, NCC Construction Norway. “We have excellent potential to staff the projects and offer expertise.”
The project is scheduled for completion in December 2016 and the order will be split between NCC Construction Norway (60%) and NCC Construction Sweden (40%).
