The contract involves road and bridge reconstruction to add new lanes to the US290 highway. OHL's traffic management will have to ensure that vehicles can move without restrictions during the work.
OHL has been working in the USA since 2006, when it won a contract in Florida. It sees the Texas award as very important, saying that the state plans to undertake US$5bn of projects over the next year to 18 months.
