Osborne will redevelop Mercers’ Yard for the Wardens & Commonality of the Mystery of Mercers, a City of London livery company.

The scheme, which has been designed by architect Ian Ritchie, comprises the refurbishment of 13/14 Langley Street, an original Covent Garden warehouse, for a retail store.

Osborne's £19m contract involves building three new mixed-use stand-alone blocks, with retail and restaurant space at ground and basement levels and 24 apartments above. The new blocks will open out to a new public space, with paths to link Mercer Street and Langley Street via a new piazza.

Demolition work has already started and completion of the whole scheme is scheduled for late summer 2016.
