John Dowsett replaces Dave Hooper, who left following the retirement of David Fison as chief executive. Mr Dowsett joined Osborne as a graduate civil engineer in 1996 and has held a number of senior roles, most recently as managing director of the Network Rail framework partnership, One Team Wessex.
Osborne’s new chief executive Andy Steele, who took over in April and was also an internal promotion, said: “I am delighted that John will be leading our infrastructure business. He has a wealth of knowledge and skills which will continue to develop our work in the Infrastructure markets and further strengthen relationships with our customers. His appointment is a true testament to our commitment to developing our own talent and promoting people from within Osborne.”
