The bulk of the order is for 300 Loadall telescopic handlers manufactured at JCB’s World HQ in Rocester, Staffordshire.

The deal also includes a fleet of site dumpers. The latest additions to the fleet will be delivered by JCB dealer Gunn JCB throughout 2016.

The investment comes as PHUK marks two milestones: 10 years of trading and the purchase of its 2,000th JCB machine.

The JCB Loadalls range from the four-metre 520-40 model through to the 20-metre lift height 540-200 model.  The site dumpers range from one-tonne 1THT to the nine-tonne 9TFT model.

Plant Hire UK, founded by Graham Jones and Finance Director Wayne Illidge, is also investing in its facilities.

Graham Jones said: “We aim to have one of the youngest fleets of machines in the industry and this latest investment will put Plant Hire UK at the forefront of the sector. We aim to be the best in the industry too and that means having the best people, the best customer service and the best machines.”
