As divisional managing director, Steve Cook has been tasked with accelerating the expansion of Procare’s construction operations.
Procare was founded in 1995 as a building maintenance firm but is looking to take on more new build work.
Steve Cook spent more than 30 years at Jarvis. He joined the company in 1973 as a 16-year-old apprentice carpenter and worked his way up to become managing director of Jarvis Contracting in 2000, a role which he held for more than 14 years.
Procare Building Services group managing director David Williams said: “To bring in someone with Steve’s talent and experience is testament to the hard work put in by the team that we already have in place here at Procare. We have ambitious growth plans for our construction division and we believe that Steve is the right person to take us to the next level.”
Mr Cook said: “My goal was to join a company that I could influence and have a real impact upon and in Procare I think I’ve found the ideal match. It’s a well-established with an excellent reputation and huge potential and I am looking forward to the opportunity to strengthen and grow its construction division.”
