Over the past two years the UK division of PM has grown to 260 people and it is planning to swell to 300 over the next months. It is looking for experienced engineers, architects, project managers, construction managers, consultants and graduates.

The UK expansion is part of a group-wide recruitment drive that will bring the total number employed by PM Group worldwide to more than 2,000 for the first time in its 40 year history.

Growth in the UK has been on the back of work in the pharmaceutical, food and advanced manufacturing sectors. Clients include GSK, Novartis, Dairy Crest, British Sugar, Molson Coors, Cummins and Airbus.

“Our growth over the past few years, despite the difficult conditions in the construction industry generally, highlights that there are jobs and opportunities in providing professional, highly skilled services to the high tech sectors both here and internationally,” said group CEO Dave Murphy.

To support the growth, PM has opened new offices at Trinity Park near Birmingham airport. Former Irish rugby international and current Leicester Tigers coach Geordan Murphy was brought in to perform the honours.
