Rototilt Systems, with its red tiltrotators, is a leading manufacturer and familiar name throughout Scandinavia and much of Europe. The UK is its next target market, the company said.
“We have been monitoring the United Kingdom for some time and feel it is an interesting and growing market for us to develop,” said sales and marketing head Per Väppling.
“There are large numbers of excavators in this country, with outstanding development potential for tiltrotators."
Exclusive dealer for Indexator Rototilt Systems in the UK is new company Rototilt UK, set up as a joint venture between Tom Lomax of Exc@v8 and Tim Wood, whose Tiltrotator UK business was until recently a dealer for Engcon, a head-to-head competitor of Indexator.
Rototilt UK will be responsible for sales, installation and product support throughout the UK.
Rototilt rotating attachments are available for all excavators from 1.5 tonnes to 30 tonnes. With its SecureLock system, Indexator claims to have the safest tiltrotator on the market.
“It is no coincidence that all our control systems are compliant with the new safety standard ISO 13031 and that SecureLock actually surpasses it," said Mrr Väppling. "As a market leader, we want to play our part in raising the bar with regard to what can be expected from a tiltrotator, and in this regard safety and freedom of choice are key."
