ISG is contractor for the Cat-B fit-out of the advertising agency’s newly-constructed 100,000 sq ft, six-storey building at 40 Chancery Lane.

ISG pioneered the use of the pre-fabricated Rehau CoolBoard system in the UK at the Crystal building in London’s Victoria Dock, where the panels were linked to a supply of chilled water generated by a reversible ground source heat pump with chiller unit attached. The Siemens facility was the first building in the world to hold the highest environmental accreditation standards of LEED Platinum and BREEAM Outstanding simultaneously.

The boards are supplied pre-assembled with the pipe secured in pre-routed grooves and come complete with fittings to secure the boards to the suspended ceiling hardware.

ISG’s scope of work includes forming two reception areas and installing three new staircases in the building, with a series of meeting rooms, cellular offices and communal break-out areas also created. Additionally, ISG will carry out landscaping at ground floor level and at the fifth floor terraced area, installing mechanical and electrical plant at roof level.
