Sacyr lands €415m Qatar development deal

The €415m (£294m) contract for state development company Manateq involves the Qatar Economic Zone 1 (QEZ-1) in Ras Bufontas.

The work awarded to Sacyr-UCC covers an area of approximately 4.1km² in an area intended to become a centre for logistics and advanced technologies.

The Middle East’s  construction, industrial and water sectors have been identified by Sacyr as growth targets in the group’s strategic. Sacyr is bidding for projects in the UAE, Jordan and Oman.
