Seddon signs £10m repairs deal

24 Apr 12 Seddon Property Services has been awarded a five-year contract, worth £10m, to provide reactive maintenance services to Golden Lane Housing (GLH), a provider of supported housing for people with learning disabilities.

GLH was established by Mencap and works in partnership with the charity to provide supported living housing for people with a learning disability.

Seddon has been working with GLH since 2007 but won this contract through a competitive tendering process.

Seddon will provide day-to-day responsive maintenance services, void property works, out-of-hours repairs and planned maintenance for a range of properties including supported residential properties, residential care homes, and respite homes. The contract starts in April 2012 and includes the option of a five-year extension.
