Sheffield Insulations, Warren Insulation, Orion Trent, Woods Insulation, Franklin, Solent Insulation Supplies, CHD and CH Insulation – all SIG businesses – will now be known as SIG Insulation, with marketing materials, vehicle livery and depot signage carrying the new branding.
Paul Gordon, managing director of SIG Distribution, said: “The rebranding is designed to provide greater clarity for customers. Providing consistency across all our trade counters will make sourcing products and seeking technical advice as quick and cost-effective as possible.”
SIG Fixings and SIG Construction Accessories, two businesses that SIG Insulation customers have historically often used to source associated fixing and accessories products, are unaffected by the rebrand and will continue to trade under their existing names.
Meanwhile, SIG Technical Insulation will be the new name for Kitsons Thermal Supplies and GRM Distribution, while CPD Distribution and Ceiling System Supplies have been rebranded as SIG Interiors.
Mr Gordon added: “With these clearly defined business units, we will be able to better communicate the five core areas of specialism within SIG Distribution, to the benefit of both our staff and our customers.”
