In total, the project involves 392 apartments in 11 blocks, designed by Skanska in close cooperation with Lundbergs. The buildings will be between six and eight storeys high and will have underground parking.
The intention is that the new buildings will be environmentally certified according to Green Building Silver. Key focus areas are energy efficiency, ventilation and the indoor environment. Individual metering will be used to charge for hot water, encouraging tenants to save on its use and so influence their monthly fees.
Construction is scheduled to begin in December, depending on the final building permit. Completion is planned in phases starting in 2018; by the end of 2019 the last block will be ready for occupancy.
