Skanska to build £38m Norwegian office

8 Jul 11 Skanska has secured a contract to construct a new office building at Forus in Stavanger, Norway. The contract for client C5 Eiendom amounts to NOK 330m (£38m).

The project involves a new head office with an area of more than 25,000m2 for tenant Apply Sørco. The building will be six storeys high, with capacity for 1,000 people.

“Since we have been involved in this project from the start, we have been able to utilise our project development expertise and thus influence solutions from day one,” said president of Skanska Norway Petter Eiken. “The cooperation with C5 Eiendom has been excellent and we look forward to completing the project.”

Construction will commence in February 2012 and is estimated to be completed by 1 January 2014.
