The SEK328m (£31.6m) arena will be constructed in central Partille, with a total area of about 16,100m2. There will also be additional buildings of about 800m2.
Partille arena will be a flexible facility that can be adjusted for different events. It will also contain offices, conference rooms, a bowling alley and a restaurant.
Work will start immediately, with the start of construction scheduled for January 2014. The arena will be inaugurated mid-September 2016.
