The contract for Landstinget i Sörmland comprises construction, rebuilding and a general modernisation of the premises. The contract value is about SEK300m (£28.6m).
The Karsudden regional hospital is the largest forensic psychiatric unit in Sweden. Skanska’s assignment comprises about 9,000m2 square meters of construction and 4,000m2 of rebuilding.
Construction work will start immediately, with completion scheduled for before summer 2016.
