The specific terms of the settlement are confidential but it includes a 10-year suspension of the right to bid on World Bank Group projects by the groups subsidiary SNC-Lavalin Inc.
The terms of settlement allow certain of the groups other affiliates to bid on and be awarded World Bank Group projects.
The suspension could be lifted after eight years, if the terms and conditions of the settlement agreement are complied with fully. The settlement does not include a financial penalty.
