PLP managing director John Organ added: “We have been involved in the sale, service and repair of powered access equipment previously. However, this was not at a dealership level. Powered access products are a great fit for our customer base, and earlier this year we began our search for a powered access brand that would match the high quality materials handling products already in our portfolio. We approached Snorkel UK, and were extremely impressed by their products, UK manufacturing facility and what they could offer as a supplier.”
PLP Lift Trucks has bought an initial three Snorkel lifts – a Snorkel TM12 telescopic mast lift, a Snorkel S3219E electric slab scissor lift, and a Snorkel A38E electric articulated boom lift – which will be deployed within its hire fleet.
