Paul Weaver was head of energy at Balfour Beatty before joining Conergy to launch a dedicated rooftop division earlier this year.
He will work alongside Lindsey Geraghty, who will continue to oversee the company’s HR, finance and administrative functions that she has supervised since joining the company in 2011.
Previously, Conergy UK was divided into two division: Solar Farms, headed by long-time Conergy executive Birgit Eggl; and Rooftops, led by Paul Weaver.
The UK arm of the company, part of Germany’s Conergy Worldwide, has installed more than 277MW of solar systems with the capacity to power more than 83,000 homes. Conergy was acquired by Miami-based asset management firm Kawa Capital Management in 2013.
