Up to 28 contractors will be selected for the four-year contract, which is open to a range of other public bodies in the south east region.
The value of works will be divided into the following three tiers:
- Up to £50,000
- £50,000 to £750,000
- £750,000 to £5m
Works will typically involve new build, extensions, maintenance, reinstatement or refurbishment and alteration.
Projects could include: schools, libraries, civic offices, flood defence and similar civil engineering projects, care homes, headquarters buildings, social services properties, museums, social housing, sport and leisure facilities, emergency services properties, further and higher education institutions, commercial properties, seafront properties, agricultural buildings, listed/heritage buildings, hospitals/NHS buildings.
