The project for Austria’s national motorway operator, Asfinag, covers construction work as well as electrical and mechanical equipment. The €34m (£24m) project includes road, tunnelling and building work together with the reinstallation of the entire electrical and mechanical system.
Work will start this month on the upgrades to the two-year project to upgrade the 4.3km twin-tube tunnel.
