Szerelmey wins stone cladding contract for the Goldsmiths Company, new training and education centre

17 Dec 10 Szerelmey, the stonework and restoration specialist, has won an external cladding contract worth £320,000 at The Goldsmiths new training and education centre in Clerkenwell, London for The Goldsmiths’ Company.

Szerelmey are supplying and installing English Yorkstone cladding to the façade of the new build element of the scheme which will house a purpose-built exhibition facility as well as workshops.

Work will be undertaken for the client, the Goldsmiths’ Centre Charity. Szerelmey was appointed by Balfour Beatty Construction Scottish & Southern  Limited. John Lyall Architects is the clients architect on the project with JM Architects working directly for BBCL. 

Szerelmey’s stone installation work will begin in early 2011 and is set to be completed in the summer.
