The Bolton-based consultancy will provide project management, quantity surveying and CMD-C support for the project.

The headquarters will be built in Ripley on the existing constabulary campus to house approximately 550 staff. Some existing buildings will be demolished to make way.

A multi-disciplinary team comprising The Vinden Partnership, engineer WYG and architect Calderpeel FGP was created to design the building.

TVP managing director Peter Vinden said: “We are experts in CDM and have an in-depth understanding of the construction market and its processes which can be invaluable to projects of this magnitude. Working with the other teams has also meant that we have formed sustainable professional relationships that we would like to see develop again in the future.”

The project has recently been submitted for planning and it is intended that construction work start later this year. Completion is slated for 2016.
