Unite Students already owns two halls of residence in Coventry. It has now acquired another development site, subject to planning, close to the Coventry University campus.
It intends to put up a block big enough to house approximately 370 students and is looking to have it open by September 2017, in time for the 2017/18 academic year.
Total development cost, including the cost of the land, is expected to be approximately £24m.
