The increased stake was enabled by the partial sale of holdings of the French state and the French Strategic Investment Fund. Vinci acquires 4,643,968 shares of Aéroports de Paris (ADP) representing 4.7% of ADP's capital.
Once the transaction is closed, Vinci will hold 8% of ADP's capital.
As per the terms of the sale, Vinci will have a seat on the ADP board of directors.
Vinci plans to propose to ADP, within the context of existing agreements, to share their respective expertise, particularly in the area of international development.
