Wastemaster Loadall range expands

1 Jul 11 JCB has added the compact 527-58WM Loadall and the high capacity 550-80WM Loadall to its Wastemaster range of telehandlers.

The 527-58WM is the most compact Loadall telescopic handler in the JCB side-engined range. At just 2m wide and 2m high (dependent on cab and wheel and tyre combinations) the machine can access low buildings, shipping containers and other restricted work areas. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 2.7t with a lift height of 5.8m. At its maximum 3m of forward reach, the 527-58 can handle a 1.25t load. This machine is available now.

Soon to go into production is the 550-80 Loadall telehandler. This 8.1m lift height, 5.0t maximum lift capacity machine has been developed in direct response to customer demand for a machine with more lift performance at reach, the manufacturer says.

The 550-80WM is JCB’s highest capacity Loadall and has been specifically designed for bulk handling operations in heavier duty waste applications such as metals recycling.

The inner boom of the 550-80WM uses a splayed nose design to maximise structural integrity while also incorporating Z-bar bucket linkage. This system provides 6.5t of breakout force – an increase of more than 50% on the current 541 Wastemaster. The low boom line also aids all-round visibility.

To comply with the EN15000 standard, Loadalls come with Adaptive Load Control as standard, a longitudinal load moment control (LLMC) system, to prevent forward overturning
