Steve Hails has joined the project team as health & safety director, responsible for implementing the Target Zero policy.
He joins from Siemens Energy Wind Power, where he was head of environment, health & safety.
Crossrail programme director Andy Mitchell said: “The scale and complexity of the Crossrail project demands the highest levels of attention to health and safety. Steve's technical expertise and leadership credentials will ensure the Target Zero philosophy drives every action undertaken by Crossrail staff and our delivery partners."
