The contractor, founded over 80 years ago, was responsible for construction of the city's Royal Porcelain Works and the Worcester swimming pool.
Spicers also ran a plant division and an architectural joinery workshop.
It operated throughout the Midlands, and served the education, health, housing, commercial, heritage and leisure markets.
Smith & Williamson has been appointed to assist in placing the company into creditors' voluntary liquidation.
