Beaufort Co-operative Academy are currently out to tender for the provision of a full daily cleaning service. The contract is being offered for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 periods of 12 months. The contract commencement date is 18.2.2019. The contract is for a full daily cleaning service during during term time and periodic cleaning outside of term time. TUPE is expected to apply, details of which can be found in the tender documentation. Many staff are part of the LGPS and an application for Admitted Body Status will also apply to this procurement.

Beaufort Co-operative Academy will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
