Description of renewals:

The contract will be for an initial term of 12 months, with a break clause at 6 months. The break clause will allow DCMS to assess initial development and proof of concept before committing to the longer term project. On the basis of a successful review outcome the contact will include an opportunity to extend for further periods, the remaining 6 months of the initial term plus two further periods of one year each. This reflects that this is a new engagement model and the approach may need to be reviewed and refined, but gives the supplier time to deliver the platform and run it for a sustained period of time.
