Vehicle Bodywork and Mechanical Repair Framework.
Norfolk County Council wishes to enter into a framework agreement with suitable contractors for bodywork and mechanical repair of its vehicles, resulting from accidents or other incidents. The framework will consist of two lots:
• Lot 1: Cars and light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes GVW;
• Lot 2: Heavy commercial vehicles over 7.5 tonnes GVW.
Contractors shall be responsible for collection of a damaged vehicle and delivery of repaired vehicle from/to County Hall, Norwich or other designated locations, including staff home addresses, within the county boundaries of Norfolk and Suffolk (and up to 10 miles beyond these boundaries). For distances greater than 10 miles, the contractor may make an additional charge, subject to the prior agreement of the Council.
