ITT For the Provision of Lifts and Lifting Equipment Services on the Star Academies Framework
Star Academies (Star) are looking to create a bespoke framework to cover all of its services relating to lifts and lifting equipment services. At high level this includes:
• passenger lifts,
• hoists service,
• pupil lifting and handling apparatus slings,
• stair and platform lift service,
• lifting equipment – lighting hoist and lighting rig.
The framework will accept up to four suppliers on each lot (lots based on regions) and will be set up for an initial two year period with a further 24 month extension available.

West Yorkshire.
Covering a range of schools within the West Yorkshire area of England.

Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
— maintenance is to be carried out according to LOLER/PUWER,
— operatives must be appropriately skilled and experienced for the type and quality of service being provided,
— all technicians must be qualified and experienced and able to meet the HSE standards of a competent person,
— accredited through CHAS, Achilles or another suitable Health and Safety Auditor
— have the following policies: Health and Safety, Environmental, GDPR
— employer’s liability — GBP 1 million,
— public liability — GBP 1 million,
— property liability — GBP 1 million,
— no outstanding charges against your company,
— company assets must be equal to or more than your liabilities

This is a bespoke framework for Star Academies which will be able to be used by other Schools or MATs if appropriate. If this arrangement proves successful it will be made a recurring contract every four years. Please note that there will be up to four successful suppliers per lot and therefore no work is guaranteed by being on the framework.
